This is okay. Didn't really enjoy the story line that much, but the acting is good and it's watchable.

This movie was a bit too slow for my liking. The plot was OK though. It was also a bit more erotic than I expected.

A very thought provoking film and so well produced. So beautifully done the sexual awaking of a young boy into a man, very tastefully handled. Emotionally packed and to think of putting yourself in that position in two such different times. SO so hard. Well worth watching.

I read the book a long time ago, so my memory of it is a little faded, but I thought the movie did justice to it. All the performances were excellent, especially Kate Winslet, and the compelling story didn't suffer in retelling.

A movie which shows the change and conflictions of personal world views over time. A very unique movie, which asks, what would you have done in either of the characters shoes, being in the present and the past tense.

Excellent story! This movie kept the audience enthralled until the ending. A very Oscar worthy performance by Kate Winslet. Well worth watching!!
