Foreign man stuck in limbo at New york terminal due to inability to get an entry visa. he is unable to return to his country due to unrest and spends some weeks living in the terminal. It is simplistic with some comedy and some shallow messages in his relationships with various terminal employees and his influence on their lives. Shallow but enjoyable in parts.

I liked this movie a lot. It reminded me of that other movie that Tom Hanks did when he was stranded on a desert island. A nice story told well and a good line up of actors. Love Stanley Tucci in this too.

An absolute gem of a movie. Tom Hanks is delightful as the "unacceptable" traveler whose passport and visa cannot be recognised upon his arrival in the USA. This is due to a political coup which occurs in his Eastern European during his flight. He consequently falls into a bureaucratic "crack" and ends up with no option but to live in the airport transit lounge, learning to speak English and, through his resourcefulness and humanity touches the lives of many people around him.

This was an interesting story line, quite funny in parts, not one I would rush out to see again but never the less quite entertaining.
